Callistemon citrinus

Callistemon citrinus Callistemon citrinus, a 'Bottle-Brush', in the glasshouses at Cambridge University Botanic Garden.

Most species of Callistemon are treated as half-hardy in the UK. Some specimens thrive in sheltered locations outdoors, but they are usually either grown indoors or at least given some protection in Winter.
